Digital Dish of the Week: Facebook to Launch Want Button For Brands
In a clear attempt to compete with Pinterest, Facebook will soon launch a “want” button specifically tailored to e-commerce.
Facebook is calling the product Collections.
“People will be able to engage with these collections and share things they are interested in with their friends,” Facebook said in a statement. “People can click through and buy these items off of Facebook.”
A select number of retailers will demo the new feature as part of a soft launch.
