2012 has been the year of transition – transition to mobile that is. Today, the medium has more of an influence than the content it conveys. This article introduces this year’s top advertising trends, describing them as being “mostly about the shifting ways that consumers experience content and how publishers hope to harness those experiences.” Some of the advertising trends include native advertising and action-based advertising.
