Digital Dish of the Week: The Marmite Rescue Force

“Love it. Hate it. Just don’t forget it.”

That’s the motto of the new British Marmite campaign, which uses the animal rescue process as fodder for a parody “Marmite rescue” raid. Rather than saving pets, officials enter homes to transport neglected jars of Marmite to a rescue facility.

On the one hand, the ad is funny, well-written, and original. On the other hand, it’s been deemed distasteful by British animal lovers insulted by the spoof. What are your thoughts? Let us know on Twitter by tweeting @SponsorPay!
