It’s engaging, tells a strong story and drives action.
But for advertisers, it’s not always easy to drive that action, with recent shifts in user privacy and fierce competition – it’s crucial that every video ad impression is maximized.
This is what led our Marketplace product team at Digital Turbine to make some improvements to our video ad format, with some technical and visual tweaks that led to great success with both publishers and demand partners.
What’s the impact?
Some initial results we’ve been seeing from early tests:
- Key performance DSPs reported an increase in install rates of 43% for iOS and 41% for Android
- A top publisher saw a +68% increase in pay out since updating to SDK 8.1.3.
This boost in performance creates an ongoing flywheel effect – more DSPs identify increased performance and bid more aggressively on high performing video supply, which then unlocks bigger returns for the publisher.
