eMarketer released a report on Monday showing that advertisers are warming up to mobile ads faster than expected. The research firm expects mobile advertising to nearly triple this year to more than $4 billion. Mobile ad sales are improving as advertisers start to catch on to mobile and are learning how to successfully woo consumers. As mobile becomes more important, it still remains a small sliver of the advertising market in the US, as it is predicted to represent 2.4% this year and 11% by 2016.
