Oreo’s Daily Twist campaign, a spinoff of the “twist, lick and dunk” procedure practiced by many Oreo eaters, offers a fun, humorous or visually appealing ad each day to its 27.9 Facebook fans as well as features the ad on oreo.com, Pinterest and Twitter.
The subjects of the Daily Twist ads have been wide and far encompassing, including: Gay pride, Elvis Presley Week, Curiosity (the Mars Rover) and Talk Like a Pirate Day.
In conjunction with the 100th anniversary of Oreo, the entire duration of the campaign will last 100 days. The final ad will be produced next Tuesday live, in Time Square. The creatives will be based on ideas submitted by consumers both in person and via social media.
