Despite being a billion-dollar global industry, some people still treat mobile game development like it’s the “minor leagues” — just a stepping stone until a developer or studio can start making games for consoles like The Division or Call of Duty.

But companies like Next Games push the boundaries of what mobile game players should expect — creating immersive experiences like those in The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land — that even triple-A console developers have to acknowledge as “epic.”

With a background in both console and mobile game development, Sulka Haro, Executive Producer at Next Games, gives his candid thoughts on the mobile vs. console conversation in the short video below:
