TechCrunch, Time Spent In Mobile Apps Is Starting To Challenge Television, Flurry Says by Kim-Mai Cutler (@kimmaicutler)
Flurry Analytics released statistics showing that consumers are spending 127 minutes per day in mobile apps, up 35 percent from 94 minutes a day in the same time last year. These findings show us that consumers are spending nearly two times more time in mobile applications than on the web. Flurry also took a look at how consumers spend time in apps and found that games lead the way for the second year. Investors, entrepreneurs and publishers are still learning how to succeed via mobile as user and traffic acquisition on mobile platforms is rapidly changing.
